We see suffering and misery around the world, because people are forced out of their homes and country to seek help for survival. Some of these people land in the USA full of hope. At Caleb House, we believe that It is our duty to help these people settle and integrate within the new community with less anxiety and misery.
Caleb house of immigrants is a compassionate non-denominational Christian organization base on Bible Principles. The bible Instruct us to care for foreigners as Jesus himself lived as a refugee in Egypt and spent time teaching us to love one another as stated on Mark 12: 31 “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Our vision
In all Immigrants we see a successful accomplished citizen.
We pray for a people ready and committed to conquer any challenges and build the new nation.
We see a missionary sent by the Lord Jesus for a strong purpose in the new land.
Where the right training, education, and resources are put together allowing exceptional people to fulfill their God given mission.
Where Communities are stronger and safer with new members and new families bringing in the right God given talent. Where newcomers are welcomed with love and inclusiveness.
Where strangers are encouraged to become pillars in the new community of opportunities and success and not despised and mistreated.
Where the rights of every newcomer are respected and promoted to develop responsible and reliable citizens.
Where every newcomer encounters the possibility of a better future translated by the hope of happiness as God intended it.
That environment is very close to God’s Kingdom

The Bible says

Remember to welcome strangers in your homes. There were some who did that and welcomed angels without knowing it (Hebrews 13:2).
“Long ago I gave these commands to my people: ‘You must see that justice is done, and must show kindness and mercy to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners who live among you, or anyone else in need” (Zechariah 7:9).

He makes sure that orphans and widows are treated fairly; he loves the foreigners who live with our people, and gives them food and clothes. So then, show love for those foreigners, because you were once foreigners in Egypt (Deuteronomy 10:18-19).
Do not mistreat foreigners who are living in your land. Treat them as you would an Israelite, and love them as you love yourselves. Remember that you were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God (Leviticus 19:33-34).
The unexpected can happen to anyone such as war, life threatening events, deception, evil tricks and more. As a result, the quest for safety and security is a natural inclination for every creature, much more for human beings. Right here in the United States of America, there is so much to do. Refugees and Immigrants need help from those who are already settled, those who already know their way around and can open a door, create a path, offer a shelter, and show some comfort and love.

The Team at Caleb the House of Immigrants is 90% composed of African refugees and immigrants who understand the frustrations newcomers can experience. We are committed to do the best we can, bringing the right resources into play to help achieve something meaningful in the life of every refugee, immigrant, or asylee.
